DAY 01: HANOI ARRIVAL

Your trip begins with arrival in Vietnam. Your private driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Check-in to the hotel and have a rest after the flight.

If you arrived early, you can mooch through the streets of the city. Historic charm, architectural marvels, and products’ variety are splashed all over this area.

DAY 02: BA VI ECO TOUR ( B/L )

Have breakfast at the hotel then you will be escorted by an experienced English-speaking guide, a countryside located at the outskirt of Hanoi. The approximate travel time is one hour and 30 minutes.

Then arriving at Mr. Duoc’s house, you will be welcomed with fresh honey tea and green lentils or lotus seeds that made by his family.  Imagine a Vietnam in the old time of war through stories of Mr. Duoc, who is not only a veteran who lives during those hard times but also a green tea expert. You will visit his tea plantation which is one of the largest in Ri village and join with locals in green tea processing. Afterward, have a Vietnamese cooking demonstration with another local host and then enjoy a home-cooked lunch in a lovely garden.

After that, you will wander around the village and mingling with local people. You will visit the local craftsman who has been skilled at making conical hats from a very young age and other workshops in the village to see how people there make tofu or shell the rice.  As you meander through the countryside you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. Then join your guides for a leisurely cycling trip along the country roads. Observe traditional Vietnamese rural life as the local people work in the paddy fields. Along the way, watch out for a water buffalo plowing a paddy field while ducks swim across the top. Stop at another host family for foot bathing following the recipes of Muong ethnic group and relaxing time before embarking on your private boat for a trip along the Da river. Later, enjoy a transfer from Ba Vi to your accommodation in Hanoi. 

DAY 03: HANOI - HALONG BAY - SHARING CRUISE (B/LD)

07h30: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi. Drive to Ha Long City through the green fields in the Red River Delta.

10h00: Stopover on the way for a refreshment break.

12h00: Embark at Ha Long wharf – Break and photography time

12h30: Boat Cruises on Halong, enjoy a welcoming drink and cruise briefing.

13h30: Have lunch while cruising in Bai Tu Long Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.

15h30: Transfer by tender to Thien Canh Son cave. Our tour guide will take you to a huge cave with many interesting stalactite and stalagmite in different amazing shapes …. After about half an hour visiting, you will go back to tender and return to the boat. Then return to cruise for your leisure or join sunbathing, enjoy swimming in the crystal clear water. Join with cooking class by our chef.

19h00: Vietnamese style set dinner is served on board.

21h00: Take some leisure time to enjoy chatting at the bar or enjoy some night fishing. Stay overnight on boat.

DAY 04: HA LONG BAY- HANOI - OVERNIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA (B/L)

07h30: Have breakfast and enjoy the sunrise on the bay.

09h00: Visit ancient Vung Vieng floating village you are not only be immersed in the quiet and peaceful atmosphere but also be surrounded by the rocky mountains by small bamboo boat for an hour in to the ancient village then return to cruise for relaxing and check out the room.

10h30: Have lunch while cruising back through Ha Long Bay to the pier

11h30: Disembark at Ha long wharf, time to say goodbye to the crew.

12h00: Return from Ha Long to Hanoi.

14h00: Stopover on the way for a refreshment break.

16h00: Arrive in Hanoi.

Have leisure time on your own and late check-out at the hotel.

20:30 - 21:00 Pick-up at the hotel. Transfer to railway station for a night train to Sapa (schedule 21:50 - 06:30).

DAY 05: SAPA - CAT CAT & SIN CHAI - SAPA  (B/L/D)

We will pick you up at Lao Cai railway station by bus, to take you to the township of Sapa which takes approx. one hour arriving at. 08:00 am – After breakfast and a morning shower, we will start walking to Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages in the bottom of Muong Hoa valley. Enjoy the spectacular views of the beautiful valley towards Fansipan- highest peak in Vietnam and Indochina. Go through a village of Black H’mong tribe, see people weaving and embroidering their clothes, enjoy colorful rice terraces and the interesting waterfall. Come back to afternoon will be free time for you to explore Sapa ethnic market and town. Overnight at the hotel in Sapa town.

DAY 06: SAPA - Y LINH HO - LAO CHAI - TA VAN (B/L/D )

Enjoy your breakfast then check out of the room. Keep your baggage in the hotel then we will walk from Sapa towards

Muong Hoa valley where can admire the magnificent landscape. Here you will discover the wonderful scenery of Hoang Lien mountain ranges and meet Black H’mong tribes. Trek through terraced rice paddies and minority villages along the Muong Hoa River, where we can have a nice swim. Lunch at Lao Chai Village then keeps going to Ta Van Village of Zay people

arriving at Ta Van, where we have dinner cooked on a wood fire enjoying the homestay overnight.company and hospitality of our Zay family.

DAY 07: TA VAN - SU PAN – SAPA (B/L)

Then enjoy a delicious breakfast ready to trek through bamboo forests towards Giang Ta Chai waterfall, cross over a rattan suspension bridge and enter into Giang Ta Chai village which is inhabited by the Red Zao minorities. Here we will experience their daily life then cross over the Muong Hoa River up the mountain to visit Supan village of the H’mong people. We then take the bus back to Sapa. Take a fresh shower in the hotel before heading to Lao Cai train station for the night train back to Ha Noi.

Overnight at the A/C soft sleeper cabin to Hanoi (schedule: 21:00 – 05:00).

DAY 08: HA NOI - HOI AN (B)

Arrive at Hanoi station in the morning, early check-in at the hotel. Take rest and have leisure time before pick up to the airport for flight to Hoi An.

DAY 09: MY SON HOLY LAND (B)         

My Son temples were built from the 4th century under the reign of king Bhadravaman, until the late 13th century, and early 14th century under the reign of King Jaya Simhavaman III (Che Man). My Son used to be a group of more than 70 temple towers. Each temple has a typical architecture which reflects a historical stage of the Champa kingdoms. Most of the architecture and sculptures were influenced by Indian culture. Most of the temples point to the East, the sun direction. Champa people thought that the East was the place where the gods lived.

08:00 AM: Pick you up at your Hotel, you up at your hotel in Hoian Town.

09:30 AM: Visit My Son Holly land, spend 2 hours to enjoy and discover the beauty of Ancient buildings at of the Champa Kingdom with our tour guide

12:00 AM: Leave My Son and transfer to boat – station, get on a boat cruise along Thu Bon river to traditional craft village of Thanh Ha pottery and Kim Bong carpentry villages. A snack will be served on the boat. Arrive Hoi An river dock at 3 PM. Say goodbye.

DAY 10: HOI AN - HO CHI MINH (B)

Have breakfast at the hotel and ready to be picked up to the airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh

DAY 11: MEKONG DELTA (B/L)

(start 7.20am – return around 17.30 )

7:20 am Pick up from the hotel.

Kick start your day with a hearty breakfast and a trip to Mekong Delta follows, depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.

Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around the country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.

Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit a honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.

Have lunch at a local restaurant. Break time.

In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong Delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh.

DAY 12: CU CHI TUNNEL (B)

Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by an introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the wartime. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the specially constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

DAY 13: TIME TO SAY GOODBYE - HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE (B)

Relish a healthy breakfast on the final day of your trip. Complete the hotel check-out formalities after which you can visit the local markets and buy souvenirs for your loved ones. Later, proceed for departure and board your flight back home. Trip Ends.

    Seawind Travel must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive advice in writing and cancellation charges would apply as follows:

    • 31 days and more before departure: 10% of the full payment + airfare cancellation fees (if any).
    • 15-30 days before departure: 30% of the full payment + airfare cancellation fees (if any).
    • 14 days and less before departure: 100% of the full payment.
    • No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the full payment
